SMS replaced all our windows in our 1896 Victorian house. A few years ago we had all windows replaced by someone else and they were just awful. We hired SMS to replace them and it was the best job ever. They replaced 16 sash windows and one very large kitchen window, all with wooden frames. The work done was to the highest imaginable standard. I am really very, very impressed with SMS’s work. The work they did was brilliant!

We can’t recommend this secondary glazing enough. Our lounge is warmer and the condensation is gone. I can actually see my garden now.

I’d made small wooden pegs and had them wedged to stop the rattling but that didn’t stop the draught!! They’ve now been completely refurbished and draught proofed! Will did a brilliant job, including renewing the sills which were old & rotten. In my opinion the cost of this work was very competitive and I’d definitely recommend to others - in fact I’ve already given their number to friends. Overall a very impressive job.

SM Sashes mended a sash cord and replaced a broken pane of glass of a victorian sash window to a good standard. They were quick, efficient, friendly and trustworthy. They mainly cleaned up after themselves and any bits left (old paint/wood chips which had to be scraped off the window in order to prime it) were easily hoovered. We would use them again or recommend them.
