The existing windows at this prominent high street property in Billericay were found to be completely beyond repair following a detailed inspection. Years of exposure and deterioration meant that restoration was not a viable or cost effective option, so we were instructed to manufacture brand new, like for like replacement windows that would restore both the appearance and performance of the building.
Great care was taken to ensure the new windows accurately replicated the original designs. Each unit was manufactured in high quality Sapele hardwood, chosen for its durability, stability, and attractive natural finish. The windows were fitted with A rated double glazed units, providing a significant improvement in thermal efficiency, sound reduction, and overall comfort, while still maintaining a traditional appearance suitable for a high street setting.
All aspects of the project were handled by our in house teams, from the initial survey and detailed measurements through to workshop manufacture and final installation. Producing the windows in our own workshop allowed us to maintain full control over quality, detailing, and finish at every stage of the process.
The installation was carried out with minimal disruption to the surrounding area, and the finished windows now provide a clean, authentic appearance that sits comfortably within the streetscape. The result is a long lasting, high performance solution that respects the character of the original building while meeting modern standards for efficiency and reliability.
